We had old nuns that would make us stand in the corner with a dunce cap. Old school mean nuns. Although by the time I reached 8th grade several had died and were replaced by "civilian" teachers so to speak. I think the convent is no longer active.

Went to a school in a redneck state but I had some leftist teachers. My AP world history class was basically reduced to the self-hating unmarried white liberal cat lady whining about how whites plundered Africa and Asia for 500 years but still got a 5 on the exam so I feel pretty good about that.

Without giving me the bullshit "just spend 25k a year on a private school" line, someone tell me how to avoid sending my child to a school like this. Is it even possible nowadays? Or have all parents resigned themselves to this fate?

Not really, I maybe had a teacher really focused on Jazz and other nigger music stuff but it was interesting and we made a lot of school trips, to museums, theather and an entire week in Britanny, it was awesome
