This isn't true. ACA requires 85% medical loss ratios for health insurers. Profit margins are in the 3-5% range for health insurers. Profit margins for providers are much higher, frequently 10-20%, and the profit margins get truly insane for pharmaceutical companies which can get as high as 30-40% including R&D. Pfizer's profit margin was about 25% in 2021 with 21b net income on 82b in revenue. It's providers and pharma that are bidding up the prices.

It's been proven several times that only white men pay a net gain to governement in taxes. Everyone else takes more than they give. It's simple math at this point.
