The republican party is really being successful right now in turning people against inflation. It's an easy sell for them. Normal, uneducated people generally do have an immediate emotional reaction against inflation.
It really is good for you though
It helps the people and hurts the rich. There are reasons people like Bezos are speaking out against Biden. It's difficult to discuss it all in shortform, and that's why inflation becomes such a winning issue for the right
But basically here are some of the main points: Rich people keep their money in bonds. Like, 30 year treasuries from the govt. These have really low interest rates. It was as low as .8% interest not that long ago. So lot of rich people bought those bonds and because of inflation they're losing everything. Meanwhile that money that's being printed is going directly to the American people.
Another issue is debt. Inflation more or less knocks out debt for people. And most of the poor and working class is in debt. This really hurts banks and hurts the upper classes.
Another issue is employment. Inflation really helps the employment rate. That's part of why we have the fed to start with, in fact
There's more. There's a lot more. Inflation is the sort of issue that really provokes an immediate, incorrect reaction in people. "Inflation = bad!" but it's not true. It's short sighted and myopic.
Anyway, I know none of you are going to listen to me. The way we should be dealing with inflation though is with unions, mandating higher wages, regulations against price gouging, windfall taxes, higher taxes on the rich and corporations. Social programs. UBI. All of these will help redistribute the wealth to the lower classes and make inflation work for them in a more noticeable way. And almost everyone will be free from debt, too
It's just that in aggregate, in the class war, inflation genuinely does help the lower classes. It's a hard thing for the lower classes to understand though
Pol is a wealthy man's board. Go shill your begging politics somewhere else. We don't give a fuck.
Andrew Murphy
Well the chronology is backwards there. What we see as "inflation" here in the US usually is price gouging because our rightwing won't legislate against it
Joseph Ortiz

thats where youre completely wrong the only way to redistribute said wealth is to democratize it. namely- nationalize the globohomo's sources of revenue.
bc there lies the issue. not only do they control the prices of basic products like steel or energy, but they consume the massive revenue these industries generate
and in the meantime, budget can only be sourced from taxes, which burden the economy and which cost is handed down to the consumer.
nationalism is the way. and nationalisation is how it can be achieved.
Connor Gray
>Well the chronology is backwards there. What we see as "inflation" here in the US usually is price gouging because our rightwing won't legislate against it It goes: >Poor people: Make higher wage >Rich people: Raise prices! You gotta stop that but the rightwing won't
Zachary Green
If you're talking about nationalizing industry then yeah that's good but that's not what "nationalism" is. Those are two separate things. The nazis privatized all of their industry by the way, in case you thought they were about nationalized industry or something
Nationalized industry is a leftwing thing. A socialist thing. But yes we should be doing it. And taxing the rich. Not sure why you're railing against taxing the rich but that's another thing you're just blatantly wrong about
Kayden Murphy
Hi Jew.
The richest people's wealth is in stocks which are pumped by QE and inflation. Debt nowadays is adjustable interest so shlomo just raises his interest faster than inflation. Inflation also always exceeds wage raises.
In other words, I see you jew, and in time you will hang limb from limb on the trees like the pharaohs ordained.
Leo Stewart
its nationalism in economics. protective capitalism is the politically correct term of it, but essentially, thats the principles of nationalism applied to economy.
like china. socialist politics, but nationalist economy.
Andrew Campbell
It's not considered "nationalism" in any way, shape or form, but whatever man you obviously want to call it that pretty desperately for some reason
Nathaniel Ramirez
Are you fucjing retarded ? It's not price gouging dumb fuck it's costs rising
Adrian Reyes
Costs rising because big companies are price gouging. Like the oil spike right now is largely caused by price gouging in the oil companies. Not entirely, much of it is due to Russia, but much of it. That's one of the root causes of costs for other things
Jordan Mitchell
>straight misdirection Bigoted much? Yeah..that's gonna be a no from me dawg
Andrew Howard
youre completely wrong, libertarian
" Definition of nationalism 1: loyalty and devotion to a nation especially : a sense of national consciousness (see CONSCIOUSNESS sense 1c) exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups Intense nationalism was one of the causes of the war. 2: a nationalist movement or government opposing nationalisms "
nationalized heavy industry good for the nation as a whole ->nationalism simple as.
Jace Hall
>Costs rising because big companies are price gouging. Like the oil spike right now is largely caused by price gouging in the oil companies. Not entirely, much of it is due to Russia, but much of it. That's one of the root causes of costs for other things Also see how.....alright I'm not trying to be a dick here but user, see how you as a rightwinger just say "costs!" like it's some magical thing that doesn't have a root or a cause? Like it's god in the sky, an invisible omnipotent force or something? See what I mean? That's just because you just digest this retarded rightwing propaganda and it doesn't even make sense on the surface if you think about it, but you don't ever stop to think about it. Like "costs" aren't just an invisible thing, they come from a company somewhere raising their prices and usually it's to make money
John Richardson
Nationalizing industry is in no way considered "nationalism". It's kind of diametrically opposite to what "nationalists" believe generally. But by all means keep harping about it if you want to do no one cares
Asher Price
i dont care what it is considered. thats how dialectic manipulation works btw.
i care for what it IS
Charles Ortiz
Alright anyway I prob can't keep responding to you guys. I'm sure there will be a litany of untrue rhetoric against the things I said posted below. Or the thread will bump. I dunno. Either way, I gotta go
John Gonzalez
>we leftycucks support those disgusting uneducated deplorable working poor! Now give us your votes you dumb fucks before we send thousands of illiterate illegals to your town to suppress wages and destroy community cohesion! Lol. Cope.
cya around what i write is quite an unpopular view, like you remarked yourself >It's kind of diametrically opposite to what "nationalists" believe generally.
Leo Morales
You guys are talking to someone who thinks gas prices have nothing to do with the illegitimate Joe Biden
Austin Cruz
>muh russia No
Adam Bailey
Literally economically illiterate the post.
Grayson Murphy
Disprove him then?
Mason Turner
Disprove what? This entire thread is about optics about saying "higher wages" instead of "higher food prices" because posting the in store/gas pump prices makes Biden look bad. This entire thread is a jew who is seething that Biden's approval is in the single digits because wages aren't keeping up with inflation, they never have, but now inflation is so rampant that the average family is beginning to experience food scarcity and it is all Joe Biden's fault.
Jonathan Lewis
I bought a shitty lawnmower 2 years ago for $149. It broke and the same shitty mower is $300 now. Mid-range self-propelled push mowers are like $900. Food and gas are bareable right now. It's shit like this which people can't ignore. Any appliance, machine or device over $100 has doubled in price.
Zachary Harris
Price is a function of supply and demand. The competitive marketplace prevents companies from gouging as they would make more by undercutting. Prices, generally speaking, are always about as low as they can be.
When the election was stolen the new illigitimate regime introduced several anti-oil policies that decreased the overall supply of oil. When supply goes down, all else being equal, price rises. This is basic mathematics.
