-the economy was based on agriculture, because france is really a big country with fertile lands and and good maritime coastline
-the society was ruled by the military instead of bourgeois merchants

When the french bourgeoisie took power, they were and still are desperate to copy everything the british bourgeoisie does, ie basing a society on intentional commerce.
It turns out that the french bourgeois is really shit at trading and the best they came up with was some form of soft power like luxury brands, even in the 19th century. It is even worse today, because the merchants turn any social field into a market.

Concerning military affairs, the french bourgeoisie is utterly crap and they failed to contain the germans several times, with the famous humiliation from the francoprussian war. France would have never ever won over purssia without a king leading the french army. France was bound to lose everything since the day of 1789.

The bourgeois in general are shit at wars, but at least the anglo bourgeois are good at commerce. This leaves the french bourgeoisie with absolutely nothing to show for their power grab. Since the bourgeois took power and imposed their destruction of absolute monarchies, the bourgeois really badly managed the military and all the wars in a dominated bourgeois world have been a shitshow.
from WW1, ww2, vietnman war, korean war, afghan war, gulf wars, and now in 2022 the russian war. All those retarded conflicts involving directly the military managed by the bourgeois merchants and bureaucrats are utter pathetic.

The only major non-military war was the cold war and it was won over commerce and the victory was for the american merchants.
The bourgeois class turned the military into a business and that's the only purpose of the military nowadays. Just getting billions in spending, with the added bonus that's more or less opaque.

The good news is that

-the chinese control the manufactures
-the indians control the software
-islamic countries are just glorified goat herders lucky to have petrodollars, and as soon as the (((phoenicians))) creates world based on non-petrodollars, the muslims will go back to being sand people
-the muslims know this so they try to spread mimicking the (((phoenicians))), ie by business at least in europe and occupy europe more and more
-india is the weakest because it is geographically between the muslisms and the chinese, and the Poos are really not that great at software engineering

The major problem of those rising powers is that they have lots of in-fighting and the (((phoenicians))) know this. Also it will still take several decades before the (((phoenicians))) show any real weakness, and the a rising power could blunder their attempt at killing the (((phoenicians))) by attacking too soon.
Overall,
-it's the long game to kill the (((phoenicians)))
-the best guy to kill (((phoenicians))) will not be France at all, unless the muslims are lucky to turn europe into an official caliphate.
