The attack was intended to be a false-flag operation where the Liberty would be sunk with no survivors and blamed on Egypt, so that President Lyndon Johnson would have the excuse he needed to bomb Cairo. Johnson was as the most shabbos goy prez the U.S. ever had. His mistress, Mathilde Krim, was his Mossad handler and was sleeping in the White House during most of the Six Day War. Thank God the Liberty survived the attack. The incident was hushed up and the survivors were threatened with court martial if they spoke publicly about what happened.
