I think the withdrawal has a lot of parallels with the American occupation of Afghanistan: Afghanistan and Snake Island were located just right on the edge of the operational capacity of America/Russia, both nations deployed insufficient soldiers and resources to defend/occupy, both left the area haphazardly in humiliation, and ultimately the losses incurred in Afghanistan/Snake Island did little to affect America/Russia's main objectives in their foreign policy.
any news on how the retreat from lysychansk is going? last thing i heard from strelkov is that ukies are rapidly retreating and that LNR forces dont have enough motorized units to catch them
