Attendance at these events WAS skyrocketing in the mid 2010s. Events on ESPN, etc.
Then they started with requiring attendees to have the clot shot, show proof of getting the jab, gay/tranny shit, blm shit, liberal shit, people getting banned for old twitter comments, false accusations of sexual assault, believe all women, etc. Now a lot of these events have either stopped occurring or have far less attendees.
In particular, it's mindboggling to watch the FGC go from being on the cusp of being a legitimate form of esports to losing a lot of their marquee events.
