true, and ofc 35s have their uses and advantages, but that doesn't change the fact that F16s are good machines, and I don't think Turkey will go to war with EU or Russia anytime soon, and when you look at middle-east and Africa... it's not like these dune people run around, or (fly around) with 8th get fighters.
F16 deal is way more than enough for 'allowing' Fingolia and Swedistan to join NATO. They should be happy.
