American health care needs free market reform!

Socializing anything increases cost and decreases quality and efficiency. We need to deregulate health care the same way we deregualte airlines and telecommunications back in the 80s.

No man you gotta nationalize it. Provide universal coverage to everyone. Take all of the profit incentives out of it. And that's just the start of the industries that need to be nationalized in the US.

I don't know why anyone would ever unironically believe the crazy "free market" rhetoric that is perpetually proven untrue time and time again. And even is just ridiculous on basic logic

You really should nationalize every industry and guarantee every citizen a job, a living wage, a union, good conditions, a pension and all of the other things. There shouldn't be any high paid CEOs, or shareholders, or boardmembers. Businesses should be run by appointed public servants, on modest salary, and effectively with the input of the America people via their democratic vote in electing the public servants who would appoint the business runners

Or you could just make drugs less regulated so that anyone can make a profit, and pay their medical bills.

Who knows, then instead of making meth Walter White would have made pills that cure himself.

Less regulation = higher prices and lower quality products. It = poisons in products. If you deregulate medicine you'll end up with tons of toxins and horrors in them

There's no "free market". That's all BS. None of that is real. It's the polar opposite of reality.

If you make crime legal for rich people then they'll commit it

>Less regulation = higher prices and lower quality products. It = poisons in products. If you deregulate medicine you'll end up with tons of toxins and horrors in them
>There's no "free market". That's all BS. None of that is real. It's the polar opposite of reality.
>If you make crime legal for rich people then they'll commit it
Also you should never have medicine run for profit. Nothing relating to medicine should be profit incentivized

Whether it's insurance, or healthcare or big pharma. All of it should be nationalized and forced to run for public good, not profit. Because with profit AKA "free market" you will only get corruption and crime and evil and poison. History proves this time and time again. There's no sane human on Earth who unironically believes "the free market will solve a problem"

The solution I've thought about is to raise a generation of doctors. Teach identifying common illnesses and treating minor wounds in school so that all these kids can help their friends and family and give them a head start if they ever intend on becoming full fledged doctors.

I agree that the government has to prevent fraud, low quality, and poisons claiming to be medicines.

That is what governments are for i.e. to protect life, liberty and happiness.

USA is the only country with absurdly high priced drugs, but this isn't because every other country's government subsidizes drugs. Most countries have a more relaxed regulatory framework which makes cheaper medicines possible. e.g. I was in Bali a few weeks ago, and the Omeprazole there is just as good but it is 1/3rd price of Omeprazole in Singapore.

Law of one price predicts that wouldn't happen if I could simply buy Omeprazole from Bali and sell it in Singapore/USA.

BTW SG has subsidized healthcare, but I am unsubsidized prices in both Bali and Singapore.

It amazes me how there are still people here dumb enough to think the solution to problems caused by government meddling in an industry is more government. There is a reason people with money still buy private insurance in countries with socialist medicine.

>I agree that the government has to prevent fraud, low quality, and poisons claiming to be medicines.
OK then you agree that your "free market solves problems" rhetoric is entirely fake and thus your entire post, which is full of factual inaccuracies and objectively false claims, can similarly be disregard

Nationalize the industry. Remove the profit incentives and thus the corruption from them. Pass those savings along to both employees and consumers. The end. Nice talking to you. Have a nice night

Problems in US healthcare aren't caused by "government meddling" they're caused by a massive lack of "government meddling" under your awful rightwing free market capitalism

> OK then you agree that your "free market solves problems" rhetoric is entirely fake
Even Ayn Rand is a minarchist. You are attacking a supposed free market ideology that is fringe and possible doesn't even exist unironically.

>Remove the profit incentives and thus the corruption from them.
Except the corruption is not removed by doing that. If anything, giving the corrupt state complete control of medical care has the potential to amplify the corruption.

>HRRRR IF WE MAEK MARIJUANE LEGL DA PRICE WILL GO UP FREVER

You're retarded. Nothing works like that, ever.

Wasnt the show about him trying to leave his family insanely rich when he died?

I will agree with this on the basis that immigration ends entirely, closed borders, and obese people are not provided treatment. Thank you

OK well the problem is with "free market" BS if you don't insist on it to it's necessary extreme then the entire BS falls apart. Because you're implicitly admitting that "the free market" doesn't actually solve problems, and you need government to do that. So...it's over. The end. You're wrong. Stop replying to me

This right here.
It was the state that mandated hospital wing closures and the cessation of elective procedures, which in turn caused hospitals to lay off nurses and doctors by the dozen. It's the state that mandated covid lockdown rules for visitors in hospitals and nursing facilities. It was the state that forced hospitals to fire people for not getting the vaccination.

No the corruption is removed when you give the control of the industry to the government. That's what nationalizing does. It takes the profit incentive out

Private ownership, literally letting entire industries like healthcare operate for the sole benefit of a handful of rich people, are the corruption. Nationalizing them is stopping the corruption. Yes. No matter how much you say differently, this will always be the case

It's currently a monopoly held by allopathic medicine (Rockefeller-backed, drugs, surgery, vaccines, symptom management, no cure medicine).
Use allopaths for trauma. Use naturopaths for illness.

You are also wrong in thinking that nationalizing industry i.e. by having a government run monopoly, it will reduce prices.

Unfree marketeers like yourself should know how bad monopolies are.

Same fagging.

In all fields.

the amount of horrible reddit posts has really increased since all the ukraine trannies came here

Who ever made this meme clearly didn’t watch the show at all.
Walt is offered millions from his former business partner for cancer treatment, but refuses to take it since he prioritizes his pride over his family.

Were you trying to reply to me? Is that who you were trying to reply to? Did you tag the wrong person or something? Cuz that other guy was agreeing with you

The state doesn't "have a monopoly". Monopolies are for businesses. The state isn't operating for the profit of one person. It's operating for public good. Everyone votes on it. That's what democracy is. Learn the word "d e m o c r a c y" I know people on the rightwing hate it

There's no sane world of equating private ownership of an entire industry to public, democratic ownership of an entire industry

Your way 1 person owns everything
My way everyone owns everything

Attached: republicans.jpg (1216x1686, 279.05K)

Yeah dude I replied to you here TLDR if that's too long for you to read, there's just no way to equate private ownership of an entire industry to literal public owned industry that every gets a democratic vote on, which doesn't operate for profit but for public good

> The state doesn't "have a monopoly". Monopolies are for businesses. The state isn't operating for the profit of one person. It's operating for public good. Everyone votes on it. That's what democracy is. Learn the word "d e m o c r a c y" I know people on the rightwing hate it

Even left wingers agree USA is not a democracy. Most countries which claim to be a democracy are oligarchies. They naturally arise from the need of political elites desiring continuity of their power while retaining legitimacy.

So there is no way to vote a government run monopoly out.

If you look at organizations like CDC or FDA, they are rarely run by elected officials. There is nobody to vote out. They are running the monopoly forever.

What the fuck? Dude you're just a retarded schizo now. I'm sorry. I knew I was wasting my time talking to anyone on this board as if they were a human

Nah man you got the right to vote in the USA and you can vote your elected representation out here. And to the extent that our democracy isn't democratic, that's only because of the same rightwing morons who want the retarded capitalist "free market" AKA government corruption

>What the fuck? Dude you're just a retarded schizo now. I'm sorry. I knew I was wasting my time talking to anyone on this board as if they were a human

I really should have known too on this board, it's only a matter of time before some user is just like "no u don't have the right to vote in the USA" or "ackshually, demons cause mental illness and the only way to get rid of them is to drill holes in your head" (people have unironically told me this before) or "ackshually, COVID wasn't even a real virus it was just the flu and the govt lied about it to make it look like COVID"

Like it's always just a matter of time before the most patently retarded fucking bullshit rears it's ugly head
