I am subscribed to local streaming services out of convenience, living off torrents may be tolerable if you only use one device (no TV or android). However it's unreal to get a refined taste on these services, all the good shit was piled up on VHS/CD/DVD scene for decades and online platforms struggle with licensing (including from other countries, e.g. Vietnamese films)

They think buying games is an investment or something. It's a big waste of money, I spend mine on stocks occasionally. I haven't spent money in significant amount on consumerist goods since I ebay'd my array of 8TB hard drives 5+ years ago.
