So are hohol volkssturm but they're still used

Maybe in wooded terrain where you can't bring a vehicle. Other than that they seem pretty useless in modern warefare. Also, unless well trained they spook easily.

They're big so they'd stand out in thermal sights. You don't want to be seen in modern warfare.

>Polish soldiers on horses
are they charging tanks with them again? I thought ww2 was lesson enough for you

Based Magyar

Our current government seems to bring back good old days of interwar republic

Yea horses are based,

Not a ton of expensive fuel,
Not a ton of expensive metal replacement parts,

Use them in heavy weather where drones and sensors have trouble.

Recon in heavy terrain. Draft animals.

Polish Territorial Defence Forces used them during the defense of the Polish-Belarusian border.

Besides, it was a myth invented for the purpose of anti-Polish propaganda.

I don't remember what channel but it was something to do with logisitics in war on channels like Covert Cabal or Task& Purpose but they were talking about how the US decided to train some light infantry and mountaineeers on horses after seeing how hard it would be to get supplies in rough terrain, they were talking about those robot dogs the marines are trying out. I would say VERY useful.

They make sense for very rural/rocky or muddy areas where vehicles get stuck.

A few mules to carry gear would help the soldiers preserve their energy and make nice food if needed.

Why does the white horse have such a derpy face? It's like it's a medieval drawing of a horse.

The pack llama is superior

the army will always have horses and mules, its a cultural aspect that extends beyond the cavalry even. resupply by donkey was an approved method in afghanistan

Definitely useful for severe terrain and weather conditions.

Yes. In gorilla warfare.

Yes mountain warfare is much, much easier with pack animals. Blufor or Opfor.

Not true.
