Why is the obsession for this garbage so multigenerational? They just remake the same shit trilogies for each younger audience then consider it money in the bank.

Are people every gonna get tired of space wars and cape shit?

>braces self for the obligatory climactic scene where he kisses a man and announces he's gay or was a woman the entire time

Obi isn't a faggot. He had am Aryan female love interest in the clone wars tv series.

>Are people every gonna get tired of space wars and cape shit?

they're already getting tired - star wars is underperformeming and getting mocked by the growing part of former fans, american comic books are on life support and so will be comic book movies once they diversify them like comics

I stopped watching after episode 6. It's straight to DVD trash, yet the mindless zombies keep eating it, and eating it.

I'm yet to watch it. What's so bad about it? Enforced diversity, strong woman character, modern globohomo themes?

They didn't map out the plot of Nu-trilogy properly. The director of episodes 7 and 9 is not the director of 8 which tried to salvage anything from episode 7 only to backtrack and double down on everything in episode 9. Mary Sue main lead with a cardboard personality, forgettable and uniconic friend group, all legacy characters are dumbed down and ruined. Soulless and pointless

It’s the character assassination of Obi-Wan: the show

those are memes not humans you need to wake up

It's the same basic story as mandolarian , except instead of saving baby yoda, obi wan is saving baby leia.

Yes. I haven't watched cape shit or star wars in at least 5 years.
Both need a break no matter how much reddit would cry over it.
New Mel Gibson movie coming out soon.
I'll probably go to the theatre for it. But aside from that, I'm off of nigger-faggot movies by jews.

Kenobi was fine, people complain too much. It's not peak Star Wars by any means, nothing Disney is or ever will be. But it was fine, actually pretty damn good towards the end. I've forgotten more about Star Wars than most people will ever know, don't @ me with your pleb opinions.

Off the top of my head:
>they retcon a major part of the original 1977 movie (Obi-Wan and Vader weren't supposed to have met since the end of the Clone Wars, in 'Kenobi' they meet twice)
>kid Leia is annoying and adds nothing to the show, mercifully her role diminishes towards the end
>one of the main characters is a black woman, naturally this is greatly offensive to Any Forums (her character gets a little less annoying towards the end)
Other than that, it's decent Star Wars content. Better than Book of Boba for sure.

I'm disappointed they didn't have Obi-Wan kiss a tranny. Just pushing a strong black woman is so 2010's.

Book of Boba was the best of any of these reboots. Just the story of a man rebuilding the community he conquered from a degenerate obese man

Also great theme song, gives me steppe warrior vibes

Star Wars Died when Lucas sold the series. Ep 7 was a rehash of A New Hope and it has been downhill since.

It was too inconsistent. Why tf does this famous intergalactic bounty hunter suddenly give so much of a shit out of nowhere about the people on easy-to-film desert planet? He was on Tatooine for work, he had no connection to the planet or the people, unless they retconned it in at some point.

Also the scooter gang is arguably the worst thing to ever come out of Star Wars.
>planet full of outlaws
>literally any biker gang to choose from as your henchmen
>better get these zoomers on their mod scooters because reasons n shieet

The scooter gang was cringe, but that is just Disney, that is present in all of their reboots. The city was his by right of conquest, he killed the old fat man and so he is the new leader

>we can't afford water but we do have state of the art cyborg parts

The appeal of Star Wars at root was always the traditional morals and the Hero's Journey. Which is why everything past the OT fails and why the sequels really suck, especially The Last Jedi, which goes out of its way to subvert those morals.

I guess, they kind of gave his entire character to Mando already so it's not like they could make a 2nd show about a bounty hunter flying around in space. The whole show just seemed like a too many cooks situation, way too many writers trying to pull the show in too many directions. But that seems to be Disney's consistent MO with these shows; let the writers do a bunch of random shit that has nothing to do with anything early in the show, just make sure enough of it ties together by the end.

The original Star Wars trilogy was a genuine cultural touchstone and they've been wringing it dry ever since. There are hordes of brainless normies who want to recapture the feeling they felt watching the OT for the first time, and can't seem to realize nothing ever can or will. They see the thing/person/whatever from the old movie and they're compelled to consoom in hopes of feeling like a kid again. Star Wars and capeshit are still making tons of money, but arguably the cultural importance has tanked in recent years. It used to be when new Star Wars came out it was a cultural event; now people are much more apathetic. Jizzney has consistently pumped out so much mediocre shit that people are losing interest.

Is that.. are those actually real? You've got to be joking. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I thought the part of Boba living with the primitivists, and taking up some of their traditional warrior culture, then taking out that train of rich kykes(pykes?) was pretty good
