brave seems cool but it has telemetry turned on by default and is based on chromium.
if you harden firefox then you can turn off telemetry so that firefox doesn't record your history and data.

This, but Google kept adding too many unnecessary features so I switched to Chromium (ungoogled). Google still has the best search engine too, I just check yandex if I have to search for something that would likely be censored.

Brave is good. Opera is also good. TOR is best for anything that isn't Any Forums.

I have used firefox forever but I recently had to switch to pale moon on my pc because it uses at least (10) processes at once and hurts my performance. I have not found a way to about:config it like with the laste few versions.

Now the android firefox is an unstable piece of shit that crashes constantly. I really don't want to change browsers because losing my addons drastically affects my qof while browsing.

I don't really get how TOR works despite using it a few times but I roughly get it bounces round your requests from point to point so it's very hard to snoop on.
However, can't the people who bounce your data snoop on it if they really wanted to?

Google is known for their search engine but the first 10 results are routinely ads and garbage. Only thing Google is good for is reverse image search and maps. If they were smart, maps would be #1 thing they attach everything else through.
