Best Self Defence Weapons!!

So it getting crazier and crazier out there. So I here pistoles tend to jam along with pump action shotguns. Also that all these high tech weapons (AR15's) weapons will be impossible to fix yourself. Are these thoughts true?

The biggest issue with pistols and magnums is the recoil. You need to practice with it in order to shoot accurately. On the other hand, rifles like the AR-15 have much less recoil and are easier to aim with

Please enlighten me!

The fuck you need a gun for pussy. Use your hands like a real man.

I would add that; unless you've ever been in a life and death situation; your me scared as hell; so simple designs....as for AR15; doesn't it have specialist parts... that would be impossible to machine tool yourself?

I’ve never seen a more retarded take.

Because I want to stay clean!

A revolver, a rifle and a shotgun. The holy trinity.

Checks out

Well; I'd think in a shootout; your ability to keep pumping would be impaired; also the shell casings will stay in the gun...

I thought it was a nice mix...

Do you think poorly made pumps can't misfeed? I've personally experienced it

everything can jam/malfunction. this is more related to make/model of the gun and choice of ammo than anything you can blanket say about entire categories.

semi-auto pistols have the advantages of better recoil, customization, ammo choice, and capacity. revolvers have the advantage of being very simple and easy to clean, and a misfire won't effect the then time you pull the trigger.

pump actions are actually great because of just how easy it is to clear a jam if it gets dirty: pump harder.

ar-15's are not exactly "high tech" weapons, just very cheap because the patent expired and every company can make them. they've been around over 50 years now, and you're more likely to find cheap spare/replacement parts for them than any other rifle. glocks are similar with their huge aftermarket.

Plus in a real life and death situation, I'd think someone would be nervous/shaking panic etc...so a simple double barrel would be better?

Any thoughts on a good ammunition type? Also wouldn't a AK47 be easier to maintain in this apocalyptic life and death situation?
