Medvedev has been out of the inner circle for years now and has been trying to worm his way back in with these bombastic statements. His current position of deputy chairman as the Security Council of Russia is about as meaningful as Lavrov's position as foreign minister. I'm sure Putin is going to give a fuck about what Medvedev tells him about security, or Lavrov about foreign affairs. Medvedev has always been a seething manchild guided more by either his dreams or his astrologists. He's likely had a vision of encroaching Nato forces and felt the need to speak out against it.
Shut up you spacker, they are already targetting large ammo dumps and headquarters. Hitting behind enemy lines is far more effective than hammering at the front. Blow up their ammo from where they can't hit you back, then unload 155mm onto the front while they can't reload, you blew up their ammo remember? They get on the radio, no command and control, then you rout the fuckers. HIMARs has the potential to turn this. It's precise, it can strike outside of harms way and the crews are provided coordinates from US satellite intel. You can't ask for better while your enemy is using crappy soviet gear.
