A midwit is someone with a slightly above average IQ, like one standard deviation (115). These people are intelligent enough to peddle mainstream ideas and remember things that they have been told, but not intelligent enough the make profound, original breakthroughs. They fall into an intellectual trap where they integrate their intelligence into social game and “getting on” in life, as opposed to being so intelligent (130 - 145 at least) to think creatively and get rejected, but solve difficult problems. Yes, these people are smart, but not highly intelligent. They are the perfect tools.
