So the reasoning behind the sacrifice is multi fold, they're trying to make a culture, this ancient Babylonian culture setup with the bath houses, the striped artwork iconography that you see in Epstein temple, the Sephora store, e.t.c.
They require your first born son, on the 8th day, because it's the most precious thing you can give. Some of their cultures required promiscuity or random sex with strangers, in public, at least once. They were bound together with no secrets and with the sacrifices of each of them.
