Reliable source!? No that's not acceptable only sources that I agree with are reliable

>Reliable source!? No that's not acceptable only sources that I agree with are reliable.
>That's Whataboutism!
>Trust the experts!
>Correlation does not imply causation!
>CNN says it, I believe it, that settles it!

What other retarded arguments do leftists / reditards make? Why do they do this? Do they not see how fucking dumb they sound to anyone with a lick of common sense?

>Do they not see how fucking dumb they sound to anyone with a lick of common sense?
No. Here's why. For them, it is no longer about facts and logic anymore. Narcissism has been actively encouraged in society for decades but ESPECIALLY among the left/liberals. What is all of that victimhood mentality, virtue signaling, weird little niche forks of intersectional identity, and boutique activism REALLY about? It is about making damn sure that these people are self-absorbed narcissists who are obsessed with how others in their shitty little political subculture perceive them.

What does this have to do with their perception of factual reporting?
Well, they've already internalized this idea that fitting in with a certain contrived liberal culture of the managerial class is a virtuous thing. Being ostracized from this culture is a scary thing for them. At this point, they have been thoroughly groomed and brainwashed to be staunch defenders of all of our prestigious institutions -- no matter what their past track record has been of being unreliable.

So, the narcissism acts as a kind of control mechanism for the elites. All they need to do is tell these people that believing everything the media tells them unquestionably makes them into sophisticated and morally righteous people who are definitely better than those Trump supporters or whatever other word they use to label people who don't trust our institutions like """""antivaxxer"""""

It's come to a point that these people no longer have any self-awareness, no capacity for critical thinking, and believe that their willful ignorance is equivalent to virtue itself

ok that was pretty based

gud rundown.

Yeah there is a lot of gud content thay is hard to find asa jootube will never promote any right winger with sense.

The strangest thing is that liberals loved conspiracies back in the 90s and 2000s

Does democracy really work? people have stopped arguing a long time ago and now everyone just double downs even if they are proven wrong. Democracy is the game of who can control the masses better by spreading lies after all

Quality post

It works but the problem is that it’s not practiced correctly - perhaps that’s evidence that it doesn’t work though

>reliable sources are bad
>trusting experts is bad
lmfao only on pol

I retched

The one that grates my balls is
>Right side of history

youtube.com/watch?v=-Ullu_yTzuY

you trust academics all day long in your every day life every time you interact with technology, sorry no one with an education is a racist schizo :/

That one is extra retarded because it's legit just circular reasoning

>We know we are correct because history will show that we are correct and we know history will say this because we are correct.

literal fucking sub 90 IQ fuckwads.

The “experts” often have a financial incentive to lie to you.

this. mentis and open for views are my go to.

>Where's your degree on X?
Absolutely infuriates me

>source: my paralysis demon

Teh

I posted a video thay provides empirical data showing why blind expert trusting is dumb. You're choice to remain a brainwashed ignoramus though.

>empirical data
>You're choice
>You're
about right for your ilk

So you supported the Iraq war?

>>demonstrable conflicts of interest that experts have are nothing to worry about

This is the greatest sin in my opinion. These brain dead retard gorilla nigger redditors sincerely can't fathom scientists being dishonest or misleading them for ulterior motives. It's so unbelievably exhausting

truly bizarre and non-sequitur response

The fact you think it's a non sequitur is just an illustration that you're uninformed

>Trump supporters or whatever other word they use to label people who don't trust our institutions

Degenerates is the word you're looking for.

You said you trust the experts right? The intelligence experts said we had to fight in Iraq to prevent WMD terrorism. Did you support the war or not? If not than you defied the experts, making you a hypocrite
>non-sequiter
Funny how you’ll name fallacies when most of your posts are pedantic ad-hominem

>broad generalization: experts have a financial motive
>follow up: DO YOU SUPPORT IRAQ?
some day I hope to be as an informed as you

>is just an illustration
esl or what?

most of the time, it's because they think they are e-celebs or their life is a Marvel movie, so instead of arguing facts and possibly admitting fault or changing their mind when confronted with an opposing idea that makes more sense than theirs, they just want to get that zinger, the audience applauds, end scene. They rely on the canned catchphrases because that's how movies do it, where the hero says the profound thing and the other guy just shuts up and accepts it. unfortunately, they often argue with people in reality, and there is no director to say cut after they've said their practiced lines to end the scene.
