I actually applied for the navy in 2016 straight out of high-school just before this woke shit eally picked up, I got a 98 on the asvab and was told I could basically choose any career path I wanted. Was let go during physicals for to much earwax despite having clean ears and never having an issue with this before (multiple other people were disqualified the same day for this to), my recruiter said this was a huge problem for them and that it was all bullshit.
No idea what is going on with recruitment but it's all fucked and I fell I doged a bullet at this point.
