It's a shit deal, but the cucks that do it are doing society a favor by marrying these hoes and raising their kids. A cuck raising some other dude's kids and putting a ring on a hoe makes those kids less likely to end up in jail and being the everyone's problem.

I think a lot of it goes down to the erosion of the father's household power. His blatant hoe of a wife can still unilaterally terminate the marriage when she gets bored and deny him sex. To be a stepdad now isn't even the consolation prize that it used to be.

Because it encourages the issue by simply treating the symptoms. Cases like this should be rare but are fairly common. Women think they can just marry who ever they want, pop out kids, divorce and upgrade later on. It devalues men in total, even if it is good for society on a case by case scenario. The ultimate outcome is reinforcement that marrying a woman with children is normal and women can expect to rely on some random man picking up their pieces. The only time a single man should marry a single mother is when he himself has children.
Because it used to be if you a stepdad, the poor kid’s father was probably DEAD. Now, the other father is probably a deadbeat who’s still in the picture and is still occasionally fucking his former wife behind your back.
If you're too much of a fuckup to have your own kids you have even less business being a dad than a deadbeat that actually managed to have kids.

I was coaching a football team and one of the kids was always hovering around me asking questions. Would talk to me about his life always asking for advice. I didn’t even realize he didn’t have a dad until he introduced me to his mom and I realized what he was trying to do.
So now I have a full blooded aryan son with a white wife that has given me two sons and a daughter of my own. I love the boy dearly and see him as my own. I even just started getting him into weight lifting, his uncle is 6’7 so I’m hoping he’ll get that height and be a chad.
A married stepdad is nonetheless better for the children's development than a revolving door of boyfriends, even if he is several times more likely to kill and abuse them than their biological father.

Because any man needs to aim higher than picking up a used-up whore who either sucked at picking the right mate or was too insufferable for the guy to stick around. Just put yourself in the shoes of any decent father: would you teach your son to order leftovers when he could have a nice meal? How degrading would it be for the kid to instill in him that the leftovers are good enough?
It's not an option unless you want all men to be raised to be loser garbage collectors, which would just widen the gap between the chads and the ever-growing majority of men who struggle to find a decent girl. Not like these girls want a man without ambition either.
Lastly, on a grander scale, you can't reward single moms or you'll just end up with more of them.
