Americans are so bad at war that it’s embarrassing. They could have easily won Afganistan but they just weren’t willing to do anything. They just pushed the Taliban into mountains and then did nothing. All they had to do was deploy more troops and mountain infantry and they could have stormed the cave system the taliban were hiding in. Instead they just chose to sit still like cowards because they are afraid of casualties. I think the problem is that Americans never properly fought a war. Europeans fought wars with millions of casualties with entire countries bombed to Stone Age and treat it as no big deal.
