I bought myself some wool leg wraps, leather boots, linen pants/tunic and a brooch/woolen cape. My fucking god, it is the most comfortable bit of clothing I own. It lasts forever, keeps the cold out and keeps me in touch with my forefathers. It is also about twice as aesthetically pleasing as anything you can buy at the store, despite being relatively simple.

If I could, I would unironically live as a medieval peasant or in a commune trying to recreate that sort of feeling. I got to stay in a cabin wearing all this shit and it was comfy as well as useful. I even got to cook on a wood stove and plant a garden bed while wearing it and despite sweating it was never overly uncomfortable.
Well modern clothes are derived from a tunic and linen pants with boots. The clothing style honest to god has not changed that much since the Celts in antiquity.
I love it. Shits comfy and functional. When I sweat in it, its not unbearable and the wool keeps any rain off my head while also holding in heat.

I wear traditional east asian clothing, usually a kimono-style top with thai fisherman pants. I love wrap around clothing. It gives such freedom of movement that it's like wearing nothing. I get some looks of contempt sometimes, but I also get people who look me up and down and make a comment like "jedi" or "samurai." I do dig the traditional european aesthetic in a lot of cases and kind of want some getups for it, but desu asian clothes are so elegant and simple.

I had two pairs from the early 2000's and 90's that were extremely comfortable. They finally got so worn down that they were basically patchwork pajamas. I got a few new pairs from the store and they are literal dogshit. I hate them so fucking much. One of them even has that stretch waistband bullshit. When I sweat in them due to Georgia heat I am actually miserable and actively trying to keep it from sticking to me because the material is so uncomfortable.
