You are probably a dumbass so I will explain this to you simply.
First what you are saying is not entirely true. Under a hypergamy system (chads with harems), you do end up with the low quality men getting filtered out of the gene pool. However, no women get filetered out. So as a result you end up with slightly worse genetics because all the worst women are still having kids. In a hypergamic system you have 20% of the men breed and 100% of the women. In a marriage system you have 75% of the men and 75% of the women breed and the bottom of both sexes get left out. The marriage system probably ends up with better results overall if you look at the world. Marriage places (europe and east asia) tend to have smarter and more attractive people then hypergamic places (muslim countries and africa).
Second, even if marriage systems didn't end up with better aggregate results, they still aren't better for everyone. Even if hypergamy did have a eugenic effect, it would still piss off the bottom 80% of men that couldn't get a wife. Instead of working a shitty job to provide for these children, these people would be criminals or revolutionaries, destroying a society that wasn't providing them with pussy. Think incels on steroids. You see this even in chimps. If the alfa chimp is hogging all the female chimps, the lower male chimps will team up, kill him, and then take the women for themselves.
So even if hypergamy was eugenic, it still might not result in a better society because of the constant turmoil. Furthermore, extreme hypergamy might actually be impossible, because the lower men will always revolt. This is probably why in islam you are limited to 4 wives.
