Masks make some minimal sense in cases where people have actual symptoms, like sneezing or coughing, the limit a bit the bigger droplets, and in addition they have the function of signaling to others you are sick, and people should avoid you. If you make everyone war them the signaling function disappears, and the do fucking nothing for just normal breathing.
