Is anything going to happen in this war? They've been stalemated for months, Russia started making a little progress recently but the Ukrainians just retreat and form a new line. If there aren't mass casualties or surrenders next week because of this so called "encirclement" then this is the most boring war on record.

The fronts have had modest Russian gains in the last week. They formed a pocket, that stupid city they made a fortress out of fell entirely today. villages here and there are being flipped.
And now, Russia has Europe by the balls with their oil. Europe will literally freeze to death in winter, without their oil. >Sanctions, they said

>Russian helicopter flies briefly into Estonia >Panicky butthurt belter air defense crew fires off AA missiles >Helicopter drops flares and leaves >AA missiles explode in the sky >"WE'RE UNDER RUSSIAN ATTACK!" >"We're not attacking you." >"We repelled the attack."
Russia just has to keep up the illusion that if they be good boys n shiet they'll keep sending the gaserino. Then come November just shut it off, without warning. Maybe give some bullshit excuse. Watch the greens freak out and Yurop descend into chaos.
>They formed a pocket, that stupid city they made a fortress out of fell entirely today I've heard the Ukrainians all just moved to Lysychansk, I've heard they're trapped there and the Ukrainians are going to have to call in reinforcements to clear a path for their escape. Maybe we'll finally see something good, not just small villages changing hands back and forth forever.

"If there is ever another war in Europe, it will come out of some damned silly thing in the Baltics." - Albert Einstein >Kaliningrad crisis - now it is clearly confirmed, Mr. President wants further trouble and not to keep the contract that has been in place since 1993: >VILNIUS, June 26. /TASS/. Lithuania will not make concessions on the issue of transit of sanctioned goods to Russia’s enclave Kaliningrad region, President Gitanas Nauseda blogged on his Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is designated as extremist in Russia). >"It is perfectly clear that Lithuania must and will apply the EU sanctions. Lithuania must and will maintain control over the goods transported via its territory, and any ‘corridors’ are out of the question, just as concessions to Russia are out of the question," the president said. >"The government should immediately begin consultations with the European Commission so that the imposed sanctions don’t harm either the interests of Lithuania or international agreements," he noted. >Earlier, Kaliningrad Region Governor Anton Alikhanov said that on June 18, Lithuania’s national railroad operator notified Kaliningrad of restrictions on the transit of goods between the region and mainland Russia. On June 21, news came that the restrictions affected road traffic as well. >The Kremlin branded the move as an economic blockade, while Lithuania and the EU insist the restrictions are only aimed at implementing the sanctions regime in place against Russia. tass.com/world/1471439
