Biden Signs Historic Gun Safety Bill Into LAW

>President Joe Biden on Saturday signed into law a legislation that marks some of the biggest changes to federal gun law in decades. The legislation, which received bipartisan support in the House and Senate, will toughen background checks for younger gun buyers, bolster background check requirements and beef up penalties for gun traffickers.

>Additionally, $750million would be provided to the 19 states that have 'red flag' laws making it easier to temporarily take firearms from people adjudged dangerous, and to other states with violence prevention programs.

Great timing signing this one eh?

biden should be executed simple as

They have no standing.

>21 to purchase a firearm
will be shut down by current supreme court makeu if it reaches it based on what they wrote in ruling that the constitution does not specify age limits for citizens on the exertion of rights. Similiarily Red Flag laws will be struck down potentially for the same reasons as taking away peoples constitutional 2nd amendment right without a court of law. One of the district courts recently rule in favor of people. Their shadow judge within their department cannot grant them a warrent to seize your firearms. It has to go before an actual judge.

anyways. Someone will tell me this is all cope but there is some strong legal argument at play here.

It won't last.

why would they beef up penalties for themselves
unless they're planning a whole lot of ruby ridges

Sounds reasonable.

Gun rights groups need to fast-track those cases, then. A challenge to red flag laws in Florida was already struck down, despite over 6000 guns being seized by law enforcement.

All Florida RPO's since 2018.

They are trying to make hearsay admissible as evidence and take away rights without being found guilty, effectively making a guilty until proven innocent situation. It's no wonder they dropped the abortion decision to cover this one up.

>he didn't read the bill
>makes post on Korean basket-weaving forum looking for support
>gets BTFO from the truth

presumption of innocence for the elite
the 4 dimensional opposite for regular people

>anyways. Someone will tell me this is all cope

It is 21 for a handgun and has been since the Gun Control Act in 1968. 18 for a long gun.

The same act that gave you FFL / background check (that apparently doesn't exist to this day according to so many...), got rid of mail order / shipped guns, form 4473.

Serialization, the "sporting purposes" import requirement (no exceptions for historical or design interest).

Imagine if in something called the Bill of Rights we had a clause that read. The health of a society, being important to a free State, the right of the people to abortions of fetuses, shall not be infringed. Along with people back then having mass abortion machines that would abort 10+ fetuses' at once.

Cause the horse shit has been happening to the 2nd ever since at least the NFA in 1934.

Food for thought. They don't want 21 year olds to have buy an AR-15, yet they will give them a M-16 if they serve (((them))). Not willing to change the draft age either....

Did you know that during WW1 the US draft age started at 21.
Did you know you needed your parents permission to volunteer / join if you were under that age too?

>yet they will give them a M-16
m4 but whatever

>m4 but whatever

Yeah, I also just reread it now and realize it should have been 18 instead of 21 for buying an AR-15

Food for thought. They don't want 18year olds to have buy an AR-15, yet they will give them a M-16 if they serve (((them))). Not willing to change the draft age either....

It took from 2002 to 2008 for the Heller case to go through the system. another two years for McDonald. 12 more years to go from Heller to the New York case.
SCOTUS is very slow to make changes on political hot topics.

>take firearms from people adjudged dangerous
some non-nigger wanna explain the Due Process part for me?

lol faggots. Keep celebrating your abortion crap like you won something.

Further, the Court is compromised. Roberts bought his Irish children from John of Gods baby farm in Brazil and has been blackmailed since the Obamacare case. Scalia was murdered on the orders of Podesta and no autopsy was held. Ginsburg wrote opinions for 18 months after she died and a body double appeared in public with the other Judges.
Only Catholics and Jews are allowed on the court. Its an occult institution, just like the rest of the American government.

It makes one wonder what else spooked the elite to throw abortion under the buss in addition to due process and the presumption of innocence. They are about to make a play for all the marbles.

>harsher background checks
Does nothing, most gun crime is illegal
>red flag laws
The tree of liberty needs watering
>age bullshit
It's either you're of age or you aren't. Stop making adults big babies. Old enough to die for uncle Sam old enough to exercise any right
>harsher penalties for gun traffickers
Sounds nice but this isn't going to be used to stomp down cartels or niglets selling hi points with the numbers sawn off, it's gonna be used to ruin the life of any FFL who doesn't have paperwork in mint

an someone give me a QRD on the red flag bill that Bidet just signed and how it may impact red states? Primarily the southeast like va/nc/sc/tn

If a spiteful person who lives with you wants to screw you over, they say you threatened to kill someone or them and the court needs no more proof to take your guns away and kill you if you refuse. This bill creates funding for the enforcers to come to your house and do anything they want on mere hearsay. Before this ruling they would have needed evidence, then a warrant, to do that.

>"We need this gun bill to save lives."
>*breathes in*
>"We also need legalized abortion on demand."

sweet! another reason not to get married

How does this apply to states that have already repealed red flag bs? As recent as this year.

It's funding for red flag laws, and or mental health programs. The funding for red flag laws has a list of requirements for due process, including penalties for abuse/ false reports that the laws must comply with in order to get the funding.

Outside of the morality of taking human life, abortion involves the right to decide what happens with your body in a medical situation.
SCOTUS has previously ruled allowing the sterilization of the low IQ and people of 'loose morals'. Clearing away abortion as a right reinstates the old precedent that the government can mandate medical procedures, even if they sterilize. See Vax mandates.
Yes, they are playing for all the marbles.

It mainly gives the state an incentive to send a posse to every suspect filed under red flag. If you don't know, that's really fucking bad. That gives government thugs a monetary incentive to fuck with anyone claimed to be a threat with no evidence other than what someone said about them. It's going to make them eager to fight with people to get the money.

It doesn't apply if you don't have red flag laws. It only applies if your state has red flag laws and opts to take federal funding for them. This bill sucks but it's not as bad as some people are saying it is. If my state opts to take federal funds for their red flag law it actually improves the situation.

my state will be ignoring this lol

Republicans who signed need to go
