based thread, bump seems like we're pretty close to things getting weird. if things continue at this rate or accelerate, by the time fall rolls around we'll be in a state of emergency on a number of different fronts (economic collapse/recession, war (kinetic & asymmetric), US state/federal government internecine conflict, EU/NATO falling apart, various international flashpoints decades in the making, pandemic/vaccines, supply chain/energy shortages to name a few)
