The answer was given to us by scouts of the brave, who learned from radio interception data that the sight mounts break off over time when firing. In view of this, in order to save the gun, Ukrainian artillerymen have to remove the sight before firing every time after aiming. Taking into account the fact that all but four howitzers delivered from Canada have an optical fire control system, this is a very critical shortcoming. The already simplified version of the howitzer, which does not have a digital fire control system, becomes very ineffective in terms of rate of fire and accuracy of firing.
