I was hit head on by a drunk driver, I had a concussion, broken ribs, and multiple herniated discs in my neck and back...
I have a lawyer, but my question is... what else should I do to make sure everything works out alright? I'm nervous I never had anything like this happen to me before and don't want to get screwed.

Your lawyer works for you. Ask him for updates weekly. Ask for more avenues of compensation. Ask about the drunk driver. Ask him everything you'll need for court

Your lawyer should have that all covered. Nobody can really answer your question here because States have different laws. For example, in my state you can't really sue like a nigger for pain and suffering unless you pay for monthly full tort coverage which most don't because it bumps your insurance up. There are exceptions because i was hit by a nigger high on pcp. He had to be convicted though so i had to keep going to court and he was a veteran so they have their own court and he's a nigger in philly so they wanted desperately to let him off. Eventually i got 40k for an "injury"

Take your medical expenses , add them to missing wages, and then multiply by 3. One third to lawyer, one third to pay for everything, one third for you to keep. You will have pain and suffering though, so make sure your physical therapy is all included until you are well. With them being a drunk driver, you can probably do better than this too
I dunno, just make sure you have all the evidence of your health problems documented by your doctor and try and emphasize that your current health condition has ruined your quality of life.

I think i had like a bulging disc but i did months if physical therapy. Im kind of getting fucked on my current lawsuit where a guy hit me while walking. They don't want to settle and its going to arbitrators where i could possibly get no money. It's my fault mostly because pain came slowly and got extreme before i started getting meducal attention. This ones is actually real and i had nut ass pain from my neck shooting down my arm and got multiple epidurals

Write everything down you remember and never sign anything unless your lawyer says so, also don't admit to anything.
Your lawyer should be asking for and handling all your bills. Stay on top of that if you get any type if bills so it don't go to collections. Sounds like a slam dunk case. You're not gonna get a huge payday if you have no lost wages though. I collected temp disability and got my lost wages. The at fault insurance also has limits. In my case, it was 25k which they immediately paid out but on my state, i pay for underinsured/uninsured so my own policy of up to 50k so my lawyer gpt that too.
Document everything. Every single expense. If you have to buy a new seat cushion for your ass, document it. If you need to buy certain lotion to rub on your fucked up body, document it. Et cetera. You need to get your money's worth. Unfortunately, chances are the drunk driver has a net worth of 0

Don’t pay for anything yet. Keep going to physical therapy, since a bad back is not something you’ll want to deal with long term. How much work did you miss? Probably too late to say to milk that for a while. Did your car get totaled? Them being drunk should let you take it pretty far
My wife and i were nearly tboned when he blew the red. He was high as a fucking kite and had a slav hooker with him. Epudurals ain't shit. They actually put you under for them and i refused last time and hardly felt it. No reason to risk anastasia
