In 2010, 33% of American women aged 20-30 lived in New York City. An entire generation thought their purpose in life was to be like the women on this show. I was at a wedding the other day, probably the last I'll ever witness in my peer group, and girls were saying "they need to do like a Sex and the City but monogamous". >hurr hurr All that red pill shit is 100% true and these women are completely self-unaware. They chose the Sex and the City life, and now they're over 35 and beta buxxing, they dream of "monogamous Sex and the City". I wonder how many of these last minute beta bux wall weddings will just lead to divorce. I'm guessing 25% within 10 years, 75% within 20 years.
This show really captivated an entire generation of breeding age women, during a dominant generation. As fucked as America is culturally and spiritually, it will now just be overrun by third world homo habilians. Because millennials didn't have kids. We had a ten year gap, around 2011-2021, to get married and have a kid or two, and it was delayed, articles were written, people forgot about it. Blink, and now it's all shit.
And all these women can do is protest abortion. THEY ARE LITERALLY PROTESTING FOR THE RIGHT TO HAVE SEX AND THE CITY LIVES FOREVER.
I have asked women how they like this show. Like, it's a comedy. You are supposed to laugh at these people, maybe relate to some of what they go through, but then not actually admire them. For example, I watch "The Boys". I like Billy Butcher. I'm not so fucking retarded that I want to go out and be him unironically IRL. But that's how women think. You have to literally shelter them and hold their hands. They have zero judgment or agency against the pressure of what other women think is cool.
I hope they get monkeypox or whatever while protesting.
that's not how it works. The show didn't make women become like this. It was putting the spotlight on a rising subculture. I remember when it came out everyone was kind of like blah these women are fucking awful. The generation of women that grew up to become it were too young to watch it. It was a premonition of what was to come. It didn't steer culture in this way. This is how women are in cities around the world, not just the USA

No, mate. You just weren't there. Gen X women in the USA were into the show, but they were already adults. Choice and consequence was already happening. Millennial women saw this in high school and college, and by college they all showed it to each other. The average age millennial saw the show's peak during college. They literally left college wanting to live like this.
You don't know because you weren't there.

You don't know because you weren't there. yeah mang

>In 2010, 33% of American women aged 20-30 lived in New York City. Doubt
Parker Garcia
Yep. He how controls the means of mass communication and the myth/story telling industries, controls reality. That's how young people became pro lgbt+ and so forth. Andrew Breitbart was right, politics is downstream from culture.

>In 2010, 33% of American women aged 20-30 lived in New York City. Sauce, doesn't sound plausible as NYC is only slightly more than 2% of the US population. I could perhaps believe 8%

1985-1995 born is 38 million people. half at 19 million. 1/3 is 6 million.
Many people only last about 2 years in New York. Over 10 years, that's rounding about 1 million per year. In a population of 9 million.
I got the stat wrong. It's that 1/3 of women 20-30, as measured in 2011, have had lived in New York at some point.

>In 2010, 33% of American women aged 20-30 lived in New York City. What the shit are you talking about?
I’m pretty sure all of them were supposed to be Jewish women.

>In 2010, 33% of American women aged 20-30 lived in New York City. What? Really?

I went to New York City once. I was really surprised by the per capita thin, fit attractive mostly white and asian women at Central Park on a weekend afternoon. I'm sure the outer burrows are trash, but for a moment I felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. It disheartens me that they flock to and congregate in an otherwise inhospitable urban hellscape. However, I can see why because suburban life is empty, and rural life is too hard. The majority of America seems to be declining.
No I had it wrong. It's had lived in New York at some point in their lives. It was like a training ground.

How do you know?

Why the fuck are there two other guys from ro in a thread about sex and the city lmao

Cruising etc is common knowledge. Here I'll give you an example: Remember when there was mass roastie seethe here about "Aleea Violatorilor" in IOR Park in Bucharest? Actually the roasties are perfectly safe from rape there because it's a fag cruising spot. Homos hang out there and fuck other random homos that show up
