Speaking of reproductive rights, do you think reproductive cloning should be legal? A clone is the ideal child. You know basically everything about him, because you share the same genes, hence have the same interests, proclivities, health issues etc, so you could impart your life experiences onto him and make him live a much better life early on than you. He would also be your best friend.
Imagine being 50-60 years old and basically having a twin brother who's 30 years younger than you, who you know will take care of you and be kind to you etc.

That is not how it works. Your DNA does not contain your spiritual self.
Physically cloning every atom and 'energy' of and in yourself however is different, and you could potentially then also split from the exact same train of thought and be identical persons for awhile. I'd guess we will have fully sentient (as perceived from the outside) humanoid robots before perfect cloning though, and that's far into the future.

Experience with twins separated at birth show this not to be the case. Identical twins have same speech and thought patterns, same hobbies, dress similarly even if raised apart.

I do too support cloning, and even genetic altering in the efforts to abolish genetic abnormalities, and diseases. But we have cross lovers running around, largest mafia, and biggest hypocrites in the world.
