It means they're winning

It means they're winning.

>Ukraine is winning even if they are losing, experts say.

>Defensive war happens on defender's territory
stop the presses

getting demolished by a superior enemy is neither smart nor stupid, it's just the natural flow of events.
what was stupid was picking a fight with a superior enemy.

If Zhopke started to tell that Russia is advancing, its mean Russia already won.

One does not pick anything when under occupation at the state level, the people who control Ukraine got jumped on before they were ready, it cost white lives on both sides and still is today.

The fact that Ukraine has no realistic path to reversing that situation is the entirety of the point. They cannot win this war. Russia will win the war. The question is whether Russia can win the peace or whether this turns into a new Afghan for them.

>They cannot win this war.
Substantiate. Ukraine has 400k still uncalled reservists and lend-lease from US. Russia still refuses to mobilize and might've already used up most of their 80s and 90s equipment. It can't be ruled out that Ukraine will be able to cut the Crimea land bridge and regain what they lost in the south within half a year.

They might be losing, but they're winning in my mind.

>Russia still refuses to mobilize
The fact they haven't had to mobilize and are advancing speaks volumes...

>might've already used up most of their 80s and 90s equipment
sure.

>It can't be ruled out that Ukraine will be able to cut the Crimea land bridge and regain what they lost
Not unless NATO gets a whole lot more serious about being involved in this very quickly

>Ukraine is winning
>We couldn't have wasted 40b on a losing war, could we? Never!

This is a classic Russian manuever called "deep battle" it's sort of the inverse of blitzkreig

There are other reasons for no mobilization. Russian elites are very averse to actually announcing a state of war, since they still hope to buddy it up with western Europe. They're still making dosh selling oil and gas and would rather have it stay that way. Plus, Russians aren't too keen on dying in Ukraine given how many contract soldiers just tore up their contracts instead of going. Try announcing a mobilization with this kind of mood in the general population.

My boy Julian is shilling for us now?
What the fuck happened to him?

>And that’s a good thing

Yes, but they would do it anyway if they actually had to mobilize to win, because they cannot afford to lose. They haven't felt the need so far and I don't expect they will. Even with Western deliveries, Ukraine just doesn't have the goods for a war of attrition with Russia.

>. Russian elites are very averse to actually announcing a state of war, since they still hope to buddy it up with western Europe.

Everyone already sees it as a war, how much would change for the russian elite? Would there be even more sanctioooooning if Russia announced mobilization? I have to say im not really buying what you are saying

>NPC with Ukrainian flag is being sarcastic about current thing
Looks like new update arrived, they are pretending better and better.

>new Afghan for them
Ukraine will never become new Afghanistan

There are those who feel free to be wrong, and those that feel wrong to be free
