That's were you are wrong, you see we all (apart from untouched tribes) share a common link with Sanskrit and everyone is binded by it. Not a single Indian regional language is independent of sanskrit. Our religious sites are in such a way that it is distributed uniformly throughout nation unlike Roman and German being completely alien to each other both linguistically and culturally.
Take any Purana, Veda, Upanishad and it will have mention of every historical city from north to south and all of them came under (Aryavart).
