It's amazing how the Russians can measure their average advance in meters per day, yet brag about this snail crawl possible only thanks to their practically unlimited artillery stockpiles as if they were going to be in Kyiv tomorrow. Jesus Christ, they advanced more and farther every day before withdrawing from the north yet no one ever seriously thought "Ukraine is about to collapse, the Russians are unstoppable, two more days" because it was clear their advances were due to pure mass and if that advantage were neutralized they were easily slaughtered. It's no different here, in fact it's worse, the fact they basically can't maneuver because any attempt to do so fails means they've degenerated back into WW2 era human wave attacks backed by massed, largely inaccurate artillery fire.
So how likely is the fact that russians will continue their offensive in the east now that that they are on a roll, keep in mind that lysychansk is on the elavated position

what you dont get is that territories Ukraine lost are not merely "temporary occupied" now. They ARE Russia. Russian administrations are established, citizens getting russian citizenship, ruble being a currency, already restoration works going on and suplies chains switched to Russia.
