user, the Supreme Court ruled that a long-standing New York law was unconstitutional based on the second amendment. The law stated that people had to have 'a good reason' to get permission to bare a firearm which was the issue because 'a good reason' is subjective and could be discriminatory as it could be applied differently to different people. SC explained, as with many other similar statutes, that either everything is equal for everyone or it's unconstitutional.
