At some point there will be a surrender. Probably before long before the Ukranian central command is shoving its army straight into the Severodonetsk kotel and by the time that entire area is resolved there won't be much of an army left to defend. It's probably better for Russia in the long run if they don't surrender though. It lets them kill everyone willing to fight so they don't have to deal with an insurgency.
