What could possibly go wrong?
16% of new car sales in California are electric, and it's been rising every year. California will be the first state in the USA to reach 50%, and likely 100%.
>have to drive further to refill your car
>burn even more gas
????
>blackouts every summer
>move all cars to grid reliant
Next up, banning drinking water and eating
There hasn't been a rolling blackout since 2019.
Or do you mean random blackouts for various non supply issues? Because every single state in the USA experiences blackouts 24/7
electric cars recharge at night, aka off-peak hours
We had blackouts the last 3 years due to "High winds" in my part of the state.
Most people in CA are poor. There's no way they are going to be able to afford a $50K car; most families have two cars
certainly not riots where all gas stations are destroyed suspiciously systematically
That'd be great if we still had our nuclear. We don't. "Off peak hours" is also undesirable now due to solar/wind operating at a lesser capacity at night, meaning we'll have to burn more natural gas to meet the surge in demand with everyone driving electric.
The average person spends 45k on a car. Also, you sound out of the loop. Electric cars are in the 20 thousands now
Good, the riots next summer will be the best entertainment.
>Can't afford 100 at the pump?
>Just dish out 27K + 3K to be able to charge it at home.
California has one of the worst economic inequalities in America, just because a San Fran tech guy makes 300K and buys 2 electric cars a year at 60K each doesn't mean that everyone spends nearly that much or can afford nearly that much. Most people rely on either really good deals or second hand markets.
lmfao they want to collapse themselves.
only ones ive seen with electric cars are the rich people, and the retards the took out a loan to buy a tesla
>the high number of electric car sales are due to middle class earners buying 2 electric cars per year
Ahahhaa just listen to this cope. Imagine how retarded you have to be to think this way. You must be having a panic attack or something over the eventual phasing out of ICE cars.
No, they don't. Poor people buy used, beat up cars. If you're spending more than 10%-15% of your yearly income on a car you're retarded.
Please glass us.
You have no idea how bad it is here.
Maybe they should just stop being faggots about everything?
45k with a 7 year loan works out to about 7k a year. That's not really that much.
>300K
>Middle class
In San Francisco, maybe, but for the rest of us that's fine living.
Leftists somehow manage to be the most socially darwinian people alive.
kek
they are building barriers all up and down the major highways in california. they claim its to stop drunk drivers but i think its to make it impossible to escape the checkpoints they will be putting up soon.
Can't wait to murder green faggot politcians
>7 year loan
Jesus christ
They'd better ban air conditioning too, or there won't be any electricity to charge their EVs with.
Most of the time they wont even use their EV's for everyday use. When was the last time there where a bunch of EV's parked at the food store? The lifestyles of people who drive EV's are as fallowed.
>Ride bike most of the time "bikes are over 3-5k and get stolen all the time".
>order in from postmates and such
>only drive their EV's to their wageslave job
>rent a car when they actually have to take a long trip
They also don't want to use their EV's much because maintenance is high on them and if they break down they cost way more to fix then any other car.
>just buy an EV goy
Glad it’s no longer climate change. It’s climate emergency
Any tips on how to get an electric car
>in SF
>liberal arts degree
>50k debt
>work at Starbucks
What should I do?
Where I live the average income is 30K a year and rent is ~2000 a month.
Before all other expenses we don't have 7K to begin with, but after expenses we're at ~1K a year.
EVs have lower maintainence costs.
steal tv's and sell them. That genuinely seems like a plausible career choice.
>16% of new car sales
Not to consumers. The state is buying up EVs as a handout to Toyota.
listen to this spoiled fucking nigger
The kind of vehicle that requires a technician for every repair has less maintenance huh? You sound very young and dumb.
I believe you know
FED
No it doesn't. A $45k car financed at 4.5% over 7 years will cost you $60k.
You are paying more in interest than I've ever paid for a car.
>Monthly Pay: $681.12
>Total Loan Amount $47,000.00
>Sale Tax $3,290.00
>Upfront Payment $3,590.00
>Total of 80 Loan Payments
>$54,489.39
>Total Loan Interest $7,489.39
>Total Cost (price, interest, tax, fees) $58,079.39
You're a nigger
>tv
You want to steal essentials like laundry detergent, diapers, canned goods then sell them at a discount in the hood.
Its the standard crackhead robinhood cycle.
Walk, what are you racists?
>lower maintainence costs
Wrong.

How to tell us all that you're an underage kid whose parents own a 3 million dollar house without telling us you're a socialist child of privilege.
Get gassed, Kike Jr.
This too, but in san francisco you can get higher cost items and not go to jail. Steal a buncha of tv's. buy a gun from the hood. Sell on craigslist. Pretty much any high value thing that doesn't exceed the felony rate there. Hell you can use apps like lyft and uber to launder the money. I do not condone any of these actions, of course.
You are unbelievably out of touch.
