How come the Book of Enoch is not part of the biblical cannon used by jews?
It's the story of how god punished the angels who went down to earth and mated with the women and made giants. It also gives an explanation why the Genesis flood(6000 years ago) was morally correct.

It is not considered a part of the bible because it does not give the 'glory' to God. Pointing to angels and things of that nature.
That said, failing to be included does not mean it is false overall. Though some have suggested later embellishment to facts through subsesquent rewrites.
Personally I find it fascinating, the early hebrews (not jews) placed faith in it. But I do not hold it equal to any of the the books of the bible. If something in it seems to contradict the Bible, then I take the approach that the Bible is correct not the Book of Enoch.

You have to understand that the Bible is very edited collection of scriptures. All its close two milleniums this has been the case. First the Romans edited it for their purposes and we got the proto universalism by cathoclisism. After that the jews took over and edited it to push their great lies.
Let go of the ”inspirated by God” narrative and look into the apocryphic texts. If they were good for Jesus, then who are you to say anything about their validity.
Book of Enoch tells very clearly about the origins of the evil corrupted forces now having more power than ever. Of course satan/satans do not want that information to be available.
