There are census records of European jews in 1938 and then again in 1948, and their population grew during that time period. I don't have the pics on this computer. That's how it works in my state as well. Property remains unclaimed for a certain period and it reverts to the state. Some privileged class trys to step up and claim that laws don't apply to them and they just get tossed out of the country. It's like some people just never learn.
