Someone explain to me what the west has achieved in Ukraine and how our "leaders" did not see what the fuck they were doing.
From the very start we had 2 options. Either go to war with russia or drop ukraine and have them be conquered. There was never a realistic way an inbetween would work out to anyones benefit. We are supplying weapons to a nation that is very clearly outmatched, so we decided to supply weapons to prolong their suffering and burn our fucking money / weaponry to a losing battle.
If NATO had any intention of actually helping they would've had to directly intervene in the fight and rebuke russia early on. WE put them in that position by performing a coup in Ukraine years ago and making sure they voted the way we wanted, now we are actively just pouring gasoline over the fire and watch it consume our own fucking economy. What the fuck was the goal here? Where is the strong leadership that needed to make the right decisions?

Also I suggest caution regarding other denominations that call themselves Christians. What my faith led me to is non-denominational Christianity but for you God might have a different plan so go where God leads you.

Degrades China's One Belt One Road strategy through West Asia and Eastern Europe. 11. Potentially galvanise public opinion in favour of incumbent leaders in the west. (This hasn't played out yet, but will be an increasing factor if Russia increases its threat). 12. Shakes out third party countries to see which ones will ally with Russia and against the West in future conflicts. 13. Creates mood for re-asserting fossil fuel powered electricity (plus nuclear) in the west. 14. Creates basis for a rebuilding effort in the parts of Ukraine that remain outside of Russian control, which will allow the West to create a strong base of influence in Ukraine after the war. 15. Promotes NATO to non-NATO countries like Sweden and Finland.
