Should websites like this be allowed to exist? I know why Hayden shut it down; but without LiveLeak as a young man I wouldn't have witnessed Sadaam's hanging, ISIS beheading, Ghaddafi being drawn and quartered (in a sense), or any of the other events that inspire me to be patriotic.
Granted they also hosted a variety of uncouth slaughters of innocents (such as live footage of the sryian civil war); but this documentation of reality for those who know where to find it serves a purpose.
If we could just get the internet out of the public schools, and journalists would keep their mouths shut about websites like Any Forums and Liveleak, these places can exist without tyrannical control of the public discourse.
