How can I learn about principles of market economies and economics without being entrenched in capitalist ideology?
Is this impossible?

How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes is the best book for explaining simple market economics (there's an audiobook).
It's capitalist because that's how life works, there is no alternative.

Do many people in Aus think TINA?
>learn about principles of market economies
supply v demand
you are welcome
Interview your local supermarket manager.
Nobody really understands economics. But post Keynesian economists understand that the current theories are totally wrong.

This could be quite interesting, I know for certain that many supermarket goods do not just follow supply/demand but are subject to regulation, so potentially it's quite didactic

Literally read Marx

What is the greatest distinction between fascist and capitalist ideology, in your view, as far as the economy is concerned?
First capitalism means nothing, its a Word used by communists. Private property have existed always, since milleniums ago before the Word capitalism even existed.
Now if you want to learn economics then study economics. Stadistics, probability, álgebra. The inverse RS between unemployment and inflation and other discovered economic laws. Some algebra to understand macro and micro.
Once you understand economics its not that difficult to link It with history. Per example the economic reasons of the Roman empire decadence are 2 and pretty obvious.

Markets Not Capitalism: Individualist Anarchism Against Bosses, Inequality, Corporate Power, and Structural Poverty is a new collection of left-wing pro-market, anticapitalist anarchist writing, edited by Gary Chartier & Charles W. Johnson. Individualist anarchists believe in mutual exchange, not economic privilege. They believe in freed markets, not capitalism. They defend a distinctive response to the challenges of ending global capitalism and achieving social justice: eliminate the political privileges that prop up capitalists. Massive concentrations of wealth, rigid economic hierarchies, and unsustainable modes of production are not the results of the market form, but of markets deformed and rigged by a network of state-secured controls and privileges to the business class. Markets Not Capitalism explores the gap between radically freed markets and the capitalist-controlled markets that prevail today. It explains how liberating market exchange from state capitalist privilege can abolish structural poverty, help working people take control over the conditions of their labor, and redistribute wealth and social power. Featuring discussions of socialism, capitalism, markets, ownership, labor struggle, grassroots privatization, intellectual property, health care, racism, sexism, and environmental issues, this unique collection brings together classic essays by leading figures in the anarchist tradition, including Proudhon and Voltairine de Cleyre, and such contemporary innovators as Kevin Carson and Roderick Long. It introduces an eye-opening approach to radical social thought, rooted equally in libertarian socialism and market anarchism.
Literally this
Capitalism is an expression of the faustian mind. If you're white the answer is no. If you're a shitskin the answer is probably also no because you will still be viewing the subject from a western pov. Like many subjects market economics isn't something that can be divorced from western concepts.
Jesus Christ it isn't that hard. Start with Hegel. Go to Marx (Das Kapital followed by THE MANIFESTO).
>words mean nothing, they're used by outgroup
galaxy brain detected
>private property
distinction between private and personal property is meaningful and valuable, eg nobody should own roads that aren't driveways
>"Oog own mountain"
What?
>comparing economics to pure math
Yanis Varoufakis has a fascinating speech where he makes some claims that it's flawed to compare economics to pure maths or science and likens it more to a kind of philosophy
>Inverse relation unemployment/inflation etc
Interesting
>Understand economics and easily link with history
I feel like this would depend on the ideological lens being used to examine said history
