To allow the government to rule of you with impunity and without fear of retribution and revolution.
They all target features important for actual war like fighting. "Extended" magazines don't matter that much, not even in a "self defense" situation. It's just annoying having to reload more often on the range. However, in an actual armed conflict, they provide a significant edge. You can also argue that about full auto, you probably do not want your rifle on full auto in a "self defense" situation, but as soon as you need suppressing fire and the likes in a combat situation, this is a huge edge. So basically, all gun control laws are meant to castrate the armed population and disadvantage them should they ever decide to rise up.
Also, fuck you for banning silencers and fuck the EU for cucking Switzerland to follow their shit. What's the problem with silencers? That you protect your hearing? They don't make your weapon deadlier, arguably the opposite. But they provide an edge in urban combat. Fuck gun regulation
Interestingly, over here only FMJ are legal and hollow points strictly forbidden. Not really sure what the motivation behind that is. I believe they argue that you should not use your gun for "self defense" anyways and on the range (or in war) FMJ is the way to go. Don't mind too much though but it still pisses me off slightly

What happens if you use your gun in self defense?
Retarded politicians think silencers make your guns whisper quiet like in the moobies: youtube.com
FMJ can over penetrate, leaving your target alive and able to sue you plus with the over penetration, you may hit property and be liable for damages or an innocent bystander who can also sue you.
Maybe if we pass laws that make it more difficult to buy guns the criminals who don't follow any of the other laws will commit less crime. :^)
if i'm not mistaken it's banned in the use of war because of the hard to treat and devastating wounds they make
that's probably why
>What is the point of gun laws?
Prevent normal men who don't want to break laws from taking an interest in true defense of the self, forming militias, and this leads to them just accepting more shit the government pushes on them without giving politicians an early retirement and a state-funded funeral.
WAAALTERRRRRR
Not sure, you might get charged with murder unless it's dead clear there was absolutely no other way and still then maybe. It's more a hypothetical question though, it's rather safe here and a surprising amount of cops are based.
yeah, it's their argument to not use your gun for self defense so this should not be an issue. Didn't vote for this but now I can't change it. I could get a permit for full auto anything but for some reason hollow points are out of the question for civilians. Weird.
In most of those countries they can't jail you for saving your own life, but they instead indict you on improper weapon handling charges and rake you over the coals
To control patriotards. There is one thing though they certainly are correct when they claim we criminals don't care about gun laws. Eventually the government will probably round them up since it's not like the stupid NRA fuckers aren't in a federal database. They won't resist at all either, just whine about it on facebook until the next outrage they're told to pretend to be upset about comes along, Business as usual.
