How expensive is this for Russia compared to how expensive Vietnam, Afghanistan or Iraq was for the USA?

Iraq is worth $2 trillion to the U.S.
Yeah Russia probably hasn't spent anything close to that in Ukraine but it's tricky to find out how much this is costing Russia.
I think it's about 1 billion per day for Russia but then it doesn't include how much it will cost to replace lost vehicles and weapons.
their inflation rate is at 20%, user.
No one cares.
The price we in western Europe have to pay for a jewish instigated WW3 is much higher.
They're doing better than expected thanks to India.
India has been importing and exporting more oil than Germany consumes in a month since the war started.
>be american
>make fun of other countries for having inflation
Nice job
We always have a high rate of inflation, on the other hand we have a high interest rate. Putting rubles on a deposit you get the same 20%, so deposits do not depreciate.
nice nice at least you're an unvaccinated chad
It's difficult to say. They have made record sales in fossil fuels because the price has increased and there are always new buyers. But on the other hand everyone now wants to cancel Russian culture and their economy is affected by sanctions in some areas, today I read a news that their car sales were 80% down from May 2021.
Who knows how isolated Russia will be in the future.
Higher oil and gas prices are making the war profitable if you consider the raw numbers alone.
They never made as much money. So, i guess not a lot...
It's very hard to guess how much they are spending since Russia is very close to autarky and a dollar there buys a lot more than a dollar in the US or the EU. Their biggest expense now is artillery shells and fuel not lost vehicles and weapons.
Russia is literally unbeatable, unconquerable and unpovertyable, western sanctions are like ant bites and Russian sausage machines will keep spewing missiles until all of nazi jewish globohomo is vanquished for the glorious motherland!
No one gives a fuck because Russian culture is non-existent outside of ex-USSR and partly Balkans.
Russian economy is cancel-proof lmao. They export real shit, shit that European economies will collapse without. It’s already happening.
Same here. We have around 12% inflation and 13.65% interest rate. Modern economic theory is for western goyam.
Not only that. Russians were never rich. The sanctions will hurt a lot but the average Russian can live with way less money than the average westerner. Pardon me for the cringy movie quote but it's accurate here. "It's not about how much pain you can inflict but how much pain you can take" and the west can take very little of it since they are soft.
>unpovertyable
Based! Living on a loan sucks.
I don't think money is worth counting. May be an odd thing to say, bit I see the Iraq war more of an investment. The Iraq war allowed a lot of Nato countries to modernise their military. Many soldiers received a lot od money being stationed there and received education. The only real loss is the loss of life, which is harder to replace.
The war now will have catastrophic consequences for Russian population, for it was already in decline. The loss of thousands of young men who cannot be replaced is more valuable than billions od dollars
>America gets Assblasted in 3 wars, one that lasted 20 years
>No profit, only losses
>Russia uses the standar budget for defense
>Arms Rebels, Buryats, Chechens
>They do all the fighting
>Gain land equal to italy
>Tons of resources, probably worth more then how much america has spent on wars
>Almost 16 Million new mannpower
>Gets new oil buyers, selling more then ever
>Enough sales to cuck off EU and USA, letting both of them fall economically
>Literally getting new combat experienced soldiers, land, resources, buyers and workers for free while the ruble becomes one of the strongest currency around
Not to mention Western political system is based on plebs accepting various shit in exchange for economic benefits. In the end, who cares if you got the money to ignore it?
Watch things go south as the deal is broken and “stability” flies out of the window. It was a problem even a decade ago. Now you’re gonna see a violent reaction to all the faults of their political elite.
Western states don’t have the staying power. They’re fragile. This was true during Cold War too, but back then their opponent was different and so was the social and political climate.
I laugh when I see talking heads uttter Soviet-tier slogans about “unity” and other shit. Russia dealt a mortal blow to Western hegemony.
gas exports are skyrocketing in price, so probably not much in money, not sure how is it in troops and morale though, thought maybe Russians are always demoralized either way, so doesn't change much
also they are taking the regions from Ukraine that aren't shitholes and have resources, so may be a good investment in the long term?
Maybe a tad bit higher, considering these are the two largest European militaries going at eachother
>The loss of thousands of young men who cannot be replaced is more valuable than billions od dollars
A point of view completely divorced from reality. Russia has already received 1 million people from Ukraine who will receive Russian citizenship and become Russians.Crimea gave Russia a loyal population of 2 million.
Yeah thousands of young men(mostly churkas) outweigh millions of Eastern Ukrainians that received citizenship before the war and million that will receive after it.
