that argument is semi-correct although it is in reverse, as if the money supply and monetary policy are untouchable constants and the economy itself is the thing that can be manipulated to accommodate the monetary policy, which is silly or malicious expanding supply would drive prices down, yes. and truly inflation would be fixed if you were to snap your fingers and make more gas and food appear on the shelves. however, "expanding supply" means "producing more" which is the hardest part of trying to improve an economy. if it was easy to just have more products around, then why weren't we doing it before and lowering prices even more? it's basically like saying the solution to a bad economy is for people to work harder. it's true, but it's vacuous quieting demand is insane, because that is basically the "lower your expectations" argument. that is the realm of communism, where you pass egregious taxes and regulations to try to guide the economy to be how you see fit. what ends up happening is your numbers work out on paper but in reality everyone now lives in a nightmare shithole because you took away everything to "quiet demand"
by lowering taxes, it will increase demand for the cheaper gas, which will make supply even tighter and drive the prices right back up. it is a short-term can-kick of trying to price control. i even fucking hate taxes and appreciate the removal, but it's not going to fix the problem he thinks is there what would fix things is to remove the political barriers to supply: the halted drilling and fracking, more refineries, not fucking antagonizing suppliers like russia. that's the closest way to "expand supply." but they don't want to do the solution so all attempts are trying to paper over that this is a problem of their own making
Depends on where they got hit. I made a scene once where an UC narcotics officer shot a guy in the femoral, and the dude died super fast.

Last week, a new godawful billboard came up on my way home from work that was all rainbowey and said "CHOOSE LOVE." Made me wanna chop the damn thing down. Well, guess what. I drove by it today and it was replaced with something new: A sign advertising the dangers of sex trafficking and warning just how prominent it is in the state. Someone made his money talk and btfo the gays. Feels really fucking good.
also i still see people joke about "walkable communities" and i think the main problem with that is they're all fucking fat i don't live in a "walkable community" but because there's merely a sidewalk at all and i'm willing to walk a few miles to get somewhere i never actually have to drive anywhere but work of course, i am usually only buying groceries but still
When does /ptg/ wish for Blimpf to make his announcement he's running again? Should he make it this summer/fall already, or wait until after the midterms?
"walkable community" is a nothing buzz word that liberals just spew whenever they want to spew vomit out of their mouths (like everything else they say)

she's still the chief white house correspondent for OAN she's priming herself for a MAGA 2024 drumpf administration
there's two main camps right now the first camp is the group that wants trump to announce his intention to run on july 4th, 2022. they argue that this would galvanize the MAGA crowd and get trump ahead of any nonsense the J6 committee throws his way (also preempts some of his republican opponents) the second crowd wants trump to announce after the midterms. this is most likely what trump will do, considering certain campaign finance laws and limitations on spending
>pic >never showers >shits and pisses herself strange japan has them, but not in the liberal vision and they still shop elsewhere at times. anyways, their zoning laws allow pretty much everything to be everywhere. wherever a need needs to be filled, you can fill it.
