You're wearing it. You're touching it. You're sleeping in it. You're breathing it. You're eating it. It's in your cells. It's interacting chemically with you.
EVERYTHING contains plastics and plastics leach estrogenic chemicals into us.
Researchers are baffled why fertility is dropping sharply across the globe but I think this is one part of the equation but it's a big one.

How do we escape this menace?

You don't. It's over

Use glass to limit plastic exposure.

I use glass and stainless steel where ever I can.
FUN FACT: Teflon is PTFE, a plastic. They line pans with that shit.

but what about mattresses? Those are mainly made of plastic foam. A decently sized mattress out of natural fibers is extremely expensive.

>You're wearing it.
dont wear clothes made out of synthetic plastic shit
>You're touching it
wear leather gloves all the time, especiall when you use the computer (mouse/keyboard)
>You're sleeping in it.
see same as clothes
>You're breathing it.
dont live in a city or near a landfill
>You're eating it
dont buy food that is packed in plastic
use an RO filter to get clean water
>and plastics leach estrogenic chemicals into us.
not all plastics tho, some types of plastic more than others.

>You don't. It's over
We may never be women but we might end up growing boobs from plastics.

You're exposed to it before you're ever out the womb. It's over

I almost agree with everything you've written, but it's easier said than done.
>dont buy food that is packed in plastic
It's not that simple anymore.
>Around 74% of [fish] fillets and 63% of livers had at least one microplastic present, while 99% of fish had at least one particle present in any of the three studied tissues.
>not all plastics tho, some types of plastic more than others.
All plastics do, some more some less. Some contain really bad chemicals like BPA and considering everything is manufactured in China I really have my doubts about the products being safe.

ALSO FOOTA

It's fucking over.

Stop producing plastics?

Toys can be made out of wood.
Steel/Iron for cooking.
Glass for containers/metal lids.
Re-usuable grocery sacks or paper ones.
Require manufactures to go back to paper/metal packaging.

The worst part is no one in any position to possibly do something about it even cares. It's unironically over

Plastics are orders of magnitude cheaper. No one will ever do this voluntarily

its not at a level where kids will be born as cripples from microplastic contamination (not yet).
still alarming and especially pregnant woman should pay more attention to plastics and avoiding products like that as much as possible.
>implying woman are smart enough to do this

>one microplastic
still a very low "dosage" of microplastics. not ideal but still edible.
its slowly infecting every source of food but for the most part its still possible to avoid them.
>All plastics do, some more some less.
especially plastics that are exposed to heat, like putting hot food into a plastic container.

My theory is that it's cumulative, there's no natural mechanism for remediation in the body. Therefore it accumulates through generations, eventually just about everyone will get to the point where their offspring are sterile. That's why test levels and sperm count have been continually trending lower with seemingly no lower bound.

I have a 140x200cm futon like picrel. The layers consists of two layers of wool, cotton, coco fiber with one in the middle made out of latex (natural gum) The price was ~420€ and rest of the "bed" I bought cheap af. Futon cannot be held straight on the floor too long or it might start to mold. Anyway I dont see that as a price too high for a 5/5 sleeping bed. What baffles me more is the price of regular bed structures (1-5k) with no good mattresses they sell on every furniture store.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
>REEEEEEEEEEEEE
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

>Futon cannot be held straight on the floor too long or it might start to mold
That sucks, I currently have my plastic foam mattress directly on the floor and I quite like it like this. Would suck to have to buy a frame for it, as I don't see the point of having those frames. Always just seems to take up extra space without any benefits.

>My theory is that it's cumulative
makes sense, all that stuff ends up in your liver and in your gut/colon.
a solution in the distant future could be to transplant artificially grown Livers into people or some sort of Liver dialysis to get it out of the body.
how do you get it out of the brain tho? it can cross the blood/brain barrier too. overall we are fucked with this plastic.

>eventually just about everyone will get to the point where their offspring are sterile.
its not just the plastic thats causing it, additional to that you have the food thats made out of all kinds of chemicals, obesity, vaccines, air pollution, medications, unhealthy lifestyles etc.

dude...
we're a social network society on top of a digital society on top of a petrochemical society on top of an industrial society on top of an agrarian society.
at this point, might as well ride the wave.

How do we escape?
The same way you treat cancer, it doesnt kill you if you dont know that its supposed to kill you.

I don't care just give me entertainment and sex

A bed frame doesn't necessarily have to take up a lot of space, the image in looks pretty good in that it just elevates it off the floor.

It's found in the bloodstream (doi.org/10.1016/j.envint.2022.107199) so that sounds like it would at least be worth trying (artificial liver + dialysis). Maybe removing it from the blood and liver replacement can get the equilibrium to remove it from the brain and it can slowly remove all the plastics, assuming no further exposure.

>its not just the plastic thats causing it, additional to that you have the food thats made out of all kinds of chemicals, obesity, vaccines, air pollution, medications, unhealthy lifestyles etc.
These issues are at least fixable in that we can remove exposure, cumulative damage, like plastics, are more difficult to find a solution

Its not plastics fault you're a weak little bitch with gyno and zero muscle mass.
Maybe if you spent you childhood running around outside instead of playing video gaymes and jerking off to anime pedo porn since age 8 you might have turned out different.
