However, even that view is not always correct.
Even with the First Amendment, there are cases like pic related.
You can argue that, if they had fought it long enough, that it eventually would have been dropped or overturned on appeal.
However, the fact of a kid now being a DOUBLE FELON, while black guy caving a white father's SKULL in was given a misdemeanor.
Sure, the sentence, although ridiculously light, was longer than the community service, but being a CONVICTED FELON carries other consequences with it, due to the presumed seriousness of a felony, compared to a misdemeanor.
The justice system is completely laughable at this point.
And just so people don't think my intention is to just rag on America, comparable cases can easily be found in Europe.
