I think people so obssesed about eyes colour tend to be not europeans,probably because as they never have blue or light brown or green eyes, to them having those colours its being closer to be better. Because everyone Deep inside them knows that Europe is been the most relevant place,thats why european standard is beauty standard.
So,while here, for any spanish,or european,its a matter of taste,the eyes colour,assuming the partner its your nationality too, to them its not,to them its an upgrade.
