We have a completely different microbiome from the 70s and it makes us fat.
Starting to happen in Europe as well, bc they are being Americanized.
Eat just enough so you don’t starve (you should feel slightly hungry all the time), try to keep the processed foods to a minimum (GMOs, ingredients labels that are more than 8 things, non-organic). A good rule of thumb is that if after you eat it you feel kind of tired or you can’t think as well (mind fog) you should eat less of it and conversely if after you eat it you feel like you could run a marathon eat more of it. Also a good nights sleep, at least 2 hours a day of sunlight and moderate exercise work wonders, these are things that even if you are a fat slob you can manage. Quit masturbating and watching porn, it affects your mood and eating habits.
