Can't afford a regular home?
Why not buy a small home instead?

>dies in sleep during natural disaster

i wont watch that video cus i can tell it will be a cringe faggot anglo whos voice and faggotness will make me cringe

The taxes on that would be like $25,000 a year in America kek

Misinformation btfo, only in the Valley would you see some gay ass taxes like these. It would be impossible to insure though which is almost a necessity if you don't own it outright.

This guy spent over 100k euros just to renovate this house.

that costs £200,000 in UK

>euros
He's Bri'ish

>>dies in sleep during natural disaster
The house is made of fucking stone. Are you joking or are you high from the fumes coming from your foam home?

>be me
>can't afford a house
>sub 700 credit score and banks won't give me mortgage
>make friends with a millionaire Christian farmer
>propose that he chop off a small section of his 1000s of acres of forest and farmland
>buy land and build fences and live in a camper
>slowly start building a house

Here I am 5 years later still avoiding the Jews

Obviously I was exaggerating, but not as much as you think. No cities in any state exempt from the already massive, ever increasing, property taxes. My friend bought an expensive home a year ago and his property taxes have increased in that time enough to make him uncomfortable enough to seek a second job. I know others who have owne their homes for yearsz even refinancing, but now looking at moving and downsizing because of purely taxes. Many such examples, and all of these cases I know of are in a red, Midwestern state.

Foam homes are probably worse and idk where that stone house is located but one earthquake / cat 5 hurricane and the roof is gone and the upper floor walls will tumble. Probably on to the cars as well.

I watched that video.
Buying and renovating cost £157.8K, the property was then valued at £155.
He could have bought a 2 bedroom house for the same price.

>inb4 “NOOOOO HOUSE PRICES ARE ALWAYS HIGHER THAN THAT NOW!!!!”
He said he lives in a small village 30 miles north of Edinburgh. I live in a moderate town and the cheapest listings are £140-170k 2 bedrooms. Can’t even find 1 bedroom houses.

He pissed away his money and had mummy and daddy help him do it.
Practically on par with those articles where trust fund kids brag about how they bought a house at 22

i live in mud huts in minecraft and i'll goddamn do it in real life too. pet bats love it

it's in Britain apparently, not cat 5 storms here. Worst case scenario 100km an hour winds

its somewhere in central England, and its very unlikely we'll get anything like that here

>England
>Cat 5 hurricane

It’s fucking Scotland.
The video is doing the rounds on the YouTube algorithm and OP immediately shits anything he consumes onto Any Forums

Are those things insulated at all?
Doesnt it get hella cold in Estonia

I would assume they are.
Otherwise they'd be absolutely useless.

Agreed, the ever increasing creep of property taxes is blind to say waves of remote workers inflating prices, it's unsustainable for people in everyday cities with everyday jobs who have already demonstrated their value by paying their homes well. There is rarely any opportunity to compete with these high skill workers so they shouldn't have to be pushed out.
That being said proposition 13 is clearly a mistake, large dynamic cities need to be able to change.

That's a steal then. Looks like Venezuela from the photo.

Renders look comfy but you're probably gonna be insane after 3 days of living in such small pod

did watch the video 1 month ago and it look nice like a singel man cave

Could have bought an actual house for the same price. There’s a reason it was abandoned for 50 fucking years.

>Europe
>Taxes, licenses and permits.

They are still expensive, there are no cheap properties in bong land except super deprived shit holes you would NOT want to live in.

it would be a nice place to stay as a tourist, but i wouldn't want to live there full time.

Depends on what you mean by cheap. Said earlier in the thread, I live in a moderate town and can find 2 bedroom properties for £140-160k, with gardens at that. They’re not especially nice, but it’s not a crackhead neighbourhood or some shit.
The daft twat from the video paid £157.8k all said and done to live in 2 rooms, and then it was valued at £155k.
Retard shit.

Those big windows are just begging to get a stone into them

the 200 year old shitshack would be good but even those are an arm and a leg. thanks to jews for importing millions of foreigners
